Visiting Laotian President Choummaly Saygnasone vowed to further cooperation with southeast China’ s Fujian Province on Saturday.
Related enterprises in Fujian Province were expected to make investments and conduct cooperation with Laos, Choummaly, also secretary general of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party Central Committee, said on Saturday in a meeting with Lu Zhangong, chief of the Fujian Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China.
Lu said recent years has witnessed much progress in economic and trade exchanges between Fujian Province and Laos. He would encourage various enterprises to do business research in Laos.
Lu also hoped to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with Laos in the fields of culture, education and tourism.
Choummaly is in China for an eight-day working visit. He will conclude the tour on Sunday.
